Mar 12, 2010 - Digital video editors in Scotland, Great Britain and Ireland appreciatively acknowledged Larry Jordan's editing skill and training technique during his seminar tour February 12 through 21, 2010. Jordan's February 12th 2-hour Final Cut Pro workshop for students and new users of Final Cut Pro, presented as part of the Creative Loop Student Media Festival which is part of the Glasgow Film Festival, was a huge success. Over 150 students attended his presentation.

Mar 09, 2010 - In response to a survey conducted by the Enterprise Desktop Alliance, 260 IT administrators from large organizations with both Macs and PCs responded that Macs are less expensive than PCs to manage. In some categories such as troubleshooting, user training and help desk calls, three times as many administrators said that Macs cost less to manage. 29% of the respondents cited lower total cost of ownership as one of the key reasons their organization buys Macs.

Feb 27, 2010 - The Enterprise Desktop Alliance has announced that Absolute Software has joined the Enterprise Desktop Alliance (EDA). On December 3, 2009 Absolute purchased LANrev which was a founding member of the EDA. By joining the EDA, Absolute has broadened the categories of cross-platform integration that the EDA represents to include cloud-based data security, theft recovery and computer tracking.

Feb 22, 2010 - In response to an annual survey concluded in January 2010 by the Enterprise Desktop Alliance, 66% of 322 IT administrators from large organizations with both Macs and PCs stated that their organization expects to increase the number of Macs in their sites. Additional responses show management priorities and organizational approaches to managing Macs. The respondents cited user preference, increased productivity, and ease of technical support as leading reasons for choosing Macs.
