Cuddly Mandy and Andy Cats now in Interactive Book

[prMac.com] Tampere, Finland - Together with traditional Scandinavian children's book publisher Satukustannus, Beijing-based game studio BeiZ releases the best interactive iPhone book for children, Mandy and Andy Renovating 1.0. The book consists of cuddly characters and a story full of surprises.
Mandy and Andy Renovating is a first interactive book based on the traditional Mandy and Andy book series. Cuddly cats, Mandy and Andy, help their friend in renovating his cottage. Children can listen to the story or read it by themselves and peek under the "flaps" to see which animals are hiding.
"Together the lovable friends have provided entertaining and educational moments for children for over 30 years," says Jarmo Viita, head of Satukustannus. "Now the cats have taken their first step to mobile world." Viita continues.
Beiz Ltd has produced the interactive book and modified it to iPhone and iPod Touch devices. "We have used the device's great touch screen, so children can open flaps as in the original book and get the same feeling of exploring by themselves" says the director of BeiZ gaming studio, Minna Heikinheimo.
Currently the game has three language versions - English, French and Chinese - but other languages will be added in the future. The next book in the series, Mandy and Andy: Four Seasons, will be available soon. Each animated children's book done by BeiZ and Satukustannus is both fun and educational and promotes children's reading skills. Parents can read the book to their children or children can explore it by themselves.
