WinesToDo released for iPhone - Making Wine Experiences Shareable

in Lifestyle (F)

[] New Rochelle, New York - WinesToDo has been released on the iTunes store. WinesToDo makes is easy to keep track of which Wines To Do and which Wines Not To Do. WinesToDo is the second in our line of AppsToDo applications for the iPhone and iPod touch. Following up on the success of GiftsToDo, WinesToDo makes it easy for the casual wine enthusiast to maintain their own wine list and to share their wine experiences with friends.

In a nutshell, you enter the wine, select the vintage, type and country/region, take a photo of the front, another of the back, rate it - then share it on your Facebook(R) page and email it to a friend. If a friend has the app too, bingo, they can import it after you share it with them.

WinesToDo includes an extensive list of wine producing countries and regions as well as types and varietals for you to select from. No list can ever be complete though. You found one that we didn't include? No problem, just add it right there and then select it. Want to record what food you had, who you had it with, what restaurant it was at? Just use the fully searchable notes field.

Once you've entered a wine you can post it to your Facebook(R) wall with the pictures you took of the bottle and a custom note. Want to send it to someone who has WinesToDo? It's easy, just use the sharing button and a custom email is created that includes a link the recipient can select to import the wine record (with pictures) into their copy of WinesToDo. You can send a plain email with the wine's details and pictures as well.

WinesToDo helps with your wine shopping too. You can easily sort your wine list by name, ratings or favorites. Looking for that great French Bordeaux you had a few months back? Use WinesToDo's built in search functionality to quickly narrow down your list. Now just pick the wine from your filtered list and you can see the bottle right there to help you find it on the shelf.

WinesToDo knows that anything can happen to your data. After you've entered all that information into WinesToDo, the last thing you want is to have to re-enter it all again. WinesToDo has features to help alleviate this issue. First, you can send your complete wine list in an email that also includes a link that can be used to reimport all of the data right back into WinesToDo, including all your custom regions, varietals, etc... Due to size limitations this link doesn't include your pictures, but WinesToDo saves all of your pictures to your camera roll so you can add them back later. WinesToDo, making wine experiences shareable.
