[prMac.com] San Jose, California - 9thDan.com has announced a Chinese version of Martial Points, its pressure points iPhone app series. Similar to the initial Korean version, the Chinese version allows users to quickly locate martial arts pressure points from an anatomically accurate 3D human model. Designed for those studying Kung Fu and other Chinese martial arts, the audio recording for the pressure point names in this version are pronounced in Mandarin by a native speaker. The detail information screen for each pressure point is now written completely bilingual in both English and Chinese (simplified and traditional form); this greatly expands the usability of the app to non-English speaking users in Asia.
In the Chinese version, each pressure point includes the following information (written in English and Chinese):
* Acupoint code
* English name
* Chinese names (character)
* Chinese pronunciation of each point's name (audio in Mandarin) by native speaker
* Meridian name
* Pressure point category
* Possible effects when struck
* iPhone and iPod touch
* Requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later
* 25.4 MB
Pricing and Availability:
Martial Points (Chinese) 1.0.1 is $3.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Medical category.
