Synium Software releases Chronories 1.0 - A different take on Diaries

in Software (E)

[] Mainz, Germany - Synium Software today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Chronories 1.0, a completely new way of writing a diary. With Chronories, your diary gets written whether you contribute or not. In addition to writing your own entries, Chronories will gather for example local weather information, which websites you visited, e-mails you received, how long you've been working on your Mac and which applications were running.

With only a few clicks, you can record how you feel today, places you went to, which topics stirred up your interest and capture a Desktop screenshot. Users whose Macs sport an integrated iSight or any other QuickTime compatible WebCam can take daily snapshots of themselves.

Thanks to Chronories' Menu Bar Service, entering today's mood, taking a screenshot, a snapshot of yourself or jumping directly to your diary page is a matter of merely one click. Chronories doesn't even have to be running in order to gather all relevant information, the background service is responsible for tracking the Mac's activity.

The vast amounts of gathered data are even more useful when using Chronories' diagrams and visually appealing visualizations. The Charts feature in Chronories can demonstrate how your mood changed over the course of the last few weeks. And what about that rumor that it rains more often in your home town than anywhere else in your country? Chronories can analyze who the user corresponded with the most, which are the days when the Mac was used the longest or when spring finally decided to come around. Screenshots and iSight photos are displays in CoverFlow mode, allowing you to watch your hair grow over the course of time or how the room's interieur changed.
