Deep Prose Releases Booxter 2.5 - Adds New Free iPhone App

[] Centreville, Virginia - Deep Prose Software today announces the availability of Booxter 2.5 for Mac OS X. With Booxter users can manage their book, movie, music and comic book collections using multiple libraries and smart lists. Booxter supports both handheld and wireless barcode scanners and iSight video cameras to quickly add large numbers of items to a collection. Libraries can be exported for viewing on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and iPod classic. Booxter is powerful, fun, and easy to use.

Version 2.5 adds a new, free iPhone app, available from the App Store. Users can now export their collections from the desktop version of Booxter to their mobile devices and carry their collections with them when on the move. The exported collections are just like the desktop versions, with smart lists, histograms, filter views and all the same details. Everything is properly formatted for the iPhone, and both portrait and landscape modes are supported.

Pricing and Availability:
The Deep Prose web store sells Bluetooth barcode scanners which complement Booxter and provide a complete integrated solution for collectors. Booxter runs on Mac OS 10.4 through 10.6. The free version has a limit of 30 items for each library. The full version costs $49.99 (USD).
