[prMac.com] Montgomery, Alabama - One Man Left Studios has released Tilt to Live 1.4 for iOS. Tilt to Live is an accelerometer-based, hi-score driven shooter. Its elegant, tilt-only gameplay has been gluing gamers to their iDevices since February 2010. And now, the long-fabled Frostbite update has been completed, approved, and unleashed as a free expansion on July 31, 2010, joining the Code Red and Gauntlet modes added in April.
In Frostbite mode, a blizzard of frozen enemies falls from the top of the play area toward a steaming hot spring below. The player is tasked with shattering through waves of these frozen dots before they can reach the hot spring and be reanimated. As you smash your enemies, the meter at the bottom of your screen steadily fills, eventually spawning a Burnicade weapon to assist you.
The new Burnicade pickup is, naturally, a burning barricade the player draws by tilting. It is available upon install within Frostbite mode, but must be unlocked for inclusion in your Classic and Code Red weapon arsenals.
This update also features seven new award challenges to put player's shattering skills to the test. As always, our awards and leaderboards are provided by the AGON Social Platform for iPhone games. This is the final update currently planned for Tilt to Live, as One Man Left shifts its focus to new projects.
