[prMac.com] Saltash, United Kingdom - Computech has updated BusinessMan 2, its popular business contact management and sales tracking software. BusinessMan tracks and manages customer information, sales, vendors, suppliers, products, marketing, and even human resources. It is both a customer-relationship manager, keeping all customer documentation in a FileMaker database, and an enterprise resource planner with scheduling, communication tracking, call handling and financial tracking capability, as well as providing an integrated e-mail client.
The BusinessMan Complete Business Management System has been developed in-house utilising the knowledge gained from more than 17 years of developing business solutions. "The first release BusinessMan was very well received and now with version 2 launch we have added even more features. Many of the new features have been added in consultation with our existing customers and I see this new release cementing the BusinessMan product into the marketplace." says Garry Thompson, Managing Director of Computech.
BusinessMan Enterprises allows companies to manage all aspects of their business from prospect first contact to invoice. It is a comprehensive, modular, ERP system with powerful CRM capabilities, quotations and invoicing modules, suppliers and stock modules, a fully integrated email client and also a fully featured and integrated resource scheduler.
Key new features added to the new Version 2 of BusinessMan are a new graphical drag-and-drop category based stock inventory and products system, including customer / product discount groups. Estimates and orders can be built using drag-and-drop of inventory items, ensuring all the right elements are chosen.
Unlimited Jobs or work orders can be generated from sales orders and scheduled for time management. Time sheets, purchase orders and other costs are recorded against the job and the customer order to get accurate costs for each sale. Comprehensive security and auditing prevent the accidental modification of data and full traceability of modifications and user actions.
Multi-currency estimating, sales order processing and purchase order processing is now evident in addition to document management and human resource management modules. Sales and purchase ledgers have been added to allow integration into popular accounting systems such as Sage, Quick Books and other open systems.
Version 2 now has enhanced resource scheduling with custom grouping for all the resource scheduling or planning activities. The addition of financial and sales and financial "Dashboards" allow a quick look view for outstanding deliveries, quotations, sales to date, sales snapshot figures, sales graph Quick View, purchase order status, goods awaiting despatch. Each snapshot is contained in an easy to read view within the specific modules and can be drilled down to get to specific information and searched at a group or individual sales person level.
Stock inventories get a new drag-and-drop system in v2. Users can build estimates and orders, including discounted orders, via drag-and-drop migration of inventory items. Auditing improvements prevent data modification while adding user tracking. The update also adds custom grouping for resource scheduling, sales, and purchase ledgers, with Sage and Quick Books support and financial dashboards for quickly viewing sales status information, purchase orders and product inventories.
In addition, Computech offer complete customisation of BusinessMan to suit individual business needs, plus other software services such as web applications, integration and now with the release of 'FileMaker Go' for the iPhone and iPad additional mobility is now possible for the BusinessMan product.
