[prMac.com] Tampa, Florida - Crash Bang Studios today is pleased to announce the release of Fail Driver version 1.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch. Fail Driver allows frustrated drivers to be able to report and tag other cars by capturing their license plate information, and optionally capturing a picture of the offending vehicle.
Fail Driver is ready to use from the moment it is installed. The application allows users to choose the event that best suits the action of the offending driver, such as: 'Cut me/others off', 'Red light/stop sign runner', and 'Parking challenged'. The application records the GPS coordinates of the event allowing others to see the location.
"Commuting to work each day I often witness rude or irresponsible drivers. For a long time I have wanted to find a way to 'tag' these people and highlight their actions'" says cofounder Mike Shaw. "Get their license, tap a button, report their action. We now allow peer review of driving!"
Version 1.1 Feature Highlights:
* Map view showing recent submissions
* Show current location and local events near user
* Ability to tap on a map pin and then view the event details
* Ability to delete a submitted entry, provided it is deleted on the same device and within 24 hours of submission
