[prMac.com] Liverpool, New York - Point618 Design Inc. today is pleased to announce the release of RecipePad 1.1 for iPad, offering support for importing MacGourmet and YummySoup! Recipe bundle files, and recipe sharing.
Users who manage their recipe collection on their Mac with MacGourmet or YummySoup! can easily import their recipes into RecipePad using iTunes File Sharing. No longer will users have to retype their recipes, or copy and paste recipes from websites. From MacGourmet or YummySoup! Users can simply export their selected recipes and simply drag and drop the export file into iTunes File Sharing. The next time they launch RecipePad, their recipes will be imported.
RecipePad will now also allow users to share their favorite recipes with friends through email. Users will also have the option to send a RecipePad recipe file to their friends who also use RecipePad on their iPads. When a user receives a RecipePad file in their email, a simple tap on the file icon will automatically launch RecipePad and install the recipe.
In addition to these new features, RecipePad lets users navigate through their recipe procedures step by step by tapping on the kitchen counter, rather than using the touch screen. No longer will users worry about getting flour or batter on their iPads. The iPad will sense the vibration in the kitchen counter and slide the next procedure into place.
The application displays the procedures on large easy to read note cards. Users can access iPod controls to access and listen to their music and playlists while they cook.
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 3.2 or later
* 2.2 MB
