[prMac.com] Rehovot, Israel - Independent developer Ziv Aviv today is pleased to announce Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz v1.1 for iPad, an update to his eBook that contains the complete text of the English book translated into Hebrew. The original children's book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, was written by L. Frank Baum and published in 1900. This eBook edition is an ideal story for an adult to read to a child, whether they are both native speakers of Hebrew, or wish to maintain a connection to the national language of the State of Israel. The classic book has been translated into more than 50 languages.
This eBook edition displays on iPad in the portrait mode, and contains all 20 chapters in 62 pages. The familiar swipe gesture allows movement backwards or forwards, and a slider permits opening to any chapter. The eBook remembers where the reader left off, and opens to that page when launched again. A Contents button toggles between the Table of Contents and the text of the book.
