[prMac.com] Castro Valley, California - KwiqApps today is pleased to announce a new word guessing game, Balloony Word HD for iPad, just in time for the winter holiday when family members spend more time playing together. This innovative and richly illustrated game is a radically new take on the old traditional Hangman game. The game sells for $1.99 on the iPad.
Balloony Word HD for iPad features two lovely characters, Gordon the Gorilla and Kendra the Kangaroo. Gordon and Kendra are happily floated in the air by twenty six balloons, with one letter on each balloon. Immersed in original music score, the player can make his or her guess by tapping on the balloons. But the player will have only seven chances to make the correct word guess. If the player makes a wrong tap, the balloon will pop. If too many balloons pop, they may not be able to keep floating in the air. So be very careful, you don't want to send the cute Kangaroo or Gorilla crashing onto the ground!
"Balloony Word HD uses a simple metaphor to represent the correct and incorrect letter guesses,", explained KwiqApps CEO and Founder Yadong Liu, "Coupled with richly illustrated balloons, cute Gorilla, Kangaroo and background environment by talented artist Daniel Hillriegel, this game represents the company's game design philosophy, which is to use the minimal but most intuitive user interface to achieve an engaging player experience." The game is a pure pickup and play title that fits well into today's family's busy lifestyle.
The mobile and social game industry has seen tremendous growth in the last few year. Yet there are only a few casual games on iPad that are educationally oriented. KwiqApps believes that as a category the educational games space will experience the most growth in the next couple of years. Balloony Word HD is a step in that direction for the company.
