[prMac.com] Sungai Buloh, Malaysia - Independent iPhone's app developer, emirBytes, announced today that iTronixPal - Electronics Box 2.3 is available to download in the Apple's App Store. The app is created specifically for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad platform.
iTronixPal is an app designed specially for those who deals with electronics on a daily basis - be it students, designers, engineers, or even hobbyists. iTronixPal 2.3 adds a few more features to help users enhance the efficiency of their work. A custom keypad has been added to make it easy for users to key in numbers. Users can also now customize the "active fonts" colors to their preference.
The developer said, "iTronixPal started out as a simple resistor color code app. As an avid electronics DIY-er myself, I enhanced the app by adding more circuit calculators, electronics' equations solvers and special tools. The color code deciphering function is able to translate 4, 5 and 6 bands of colors, with ability to show the equivalent value of not only resistors, but also capacitors and inductors alike. The smart thing about it, is the color code utility is able to detect if the value is of EIA standards or not. So you will know exactly what value to choose off the rack."
"Some tools in the app are also special, such as the Tone Generator with ability to sweep the frequency from 20Hz to 20kHz, which is useful when you want to measure a frequency response of a system. It is even equipped with a full spectrum of flashlight so that you could find that resistor you dropped under the desk. Now the app sports 5 special tools, and 15 circuit calculators, and growing bigger with each updates." The developer further commented that the app scored a high rating (4.5/5) from an electronics expert in The Apperator website.
