Fastforward releases Meander 2.2, route planning software for Mac OS X

[prMac.com] Sheffield, UK - Fastforward Software has released Meander 2.2, an update to the route planning application for Mac OS X. The update improves the interface and fixes several bugs. The Meander 2.2 update is free to all registered users, and may be downloaded at Fastforward's website.

Meander 2.2 features the following improvements and changes:
* New toolbar icons.
* Fixes bug which prevented changes to attached image or comments from saving properly.
* Image attachments stored in the route file as high quality JPEGs rather than TIFFs, making route files much smaller in size.
* Images now only re-saved if necessary, reducing time taken to save or export route.

Meander lets users plot points, plan routes and measure distances using any map, including maps you've scanned into your computer or those you've found on Google Maps or other websites. You can save your routes for later, keep a journal and export or print your routes to share with your family and friends.

Pricing and Availability:
Meander costs $19.95 USD, requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later, and is a Universal Binary application. Meander is available in English and French.
