[prMac.com] Lakeville, Minnesota - Viet Tran, the independent mobile application developer behind Notes Plus, has announced that Notes Plus has topped 50,000 downloads on the iTunes App Store. Extending an official thank you to his customers for their support, Tran adds that this milestone could not have been reached without the constructive input and feedback that the app's many users have offered since its release.
Tran has maintained an open dialogue between himself and Notes Plus' many engaged users to continuously improve their experiences with the app and ensure that all of their needs are met. This level of customer care and subsequently customer content has inspired strongly positive word of mouth; a factor that Tran predicts is one of the main factors behind Notes Plus' recent success and one which leaves the developer optimistic about the app's future prospects.
Notes Plus represents a step up from other currently available note taking applications through the sheer practicality of its features. The app provides users with a 'close-up' writing mode that allows users to hand write notes in a magnified area, allowing them to hand write small text quickly and legibility within the app. Notes Plus also incorporates stroke smoothening algorithms that allow users to hand write more quickly without sacrificing legibility.
Shape detection features make hand-drawing shapes to visually aide or enhance notes simple as well. Users also have the option of utilizing typed text with adjustable fonts, font sizes, and colors. Furthermore, Notes Plus fully utilizes the iPad's touch-screen technology to offer users intuitive editing tools easily and quickly correct any mistakes incurred during note-taking.
Unlike the iPad's native Notes application, Notes Plus' many features allow users to have the freedom to take notes without being forced to work within various functional or structural limitations. The app features a voice recording capability which users can employ to record meetings or lectures while simultaneously taking hand written or typed notes, or adding in graphic elements such as shapes and drawings.
Users are able to freely format and organize their notes by page into notebooks and sync with cloud services such as Google Docs to easily export and save completed work as well. Furthermore, Notes Plus' wealth of customizable note-taking options allow users to control every aspect of their work from editing specific shapes to utilizing specific text colors or stroke sizes.
