15 Year Old Releases Instantunes 4.5 iOS App

in Music (F)

[prMac.com] Aberdeen, UK - Craig Walton, the fifteen year old school boy behind Vivex Software just released InstanTunes 4.5 which brings yet more new and innovative features to the app. InstanTunes for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is designed for both the casual music listener who just wants to listen to some good music, without digging through a music library and creating another on-the-go playlist, as well as for someone who wants to customize and fine-tune their music playlist.

InstanTunes instantly generates and plays a playlist, using your chosen source and optional filters, as soon as you launch it. However, the fun is not over yet. Delete, reorder and add upcoming songs to the playlist in real time. Flick and tap to control your music while admiring the gorgeous full screen artwork which is gesture compatible, perfect for when busy driving.

Version 4.5, one of many regular updates, brings a new and improved design for the iPad, and the option to play your generated playlist instantly or after the now playing song, and more improvements and enhancements. InstanTunes supports multitasking with iOS 4, supports all iOS devices (including iPad) all the way back to iOS 3.1.3 and all graphics have been updated to support the retina displays on iPhone and iPod touch.

The fact that an unassisted school boy can compete with companies and experienced programmers, again shows the power of the iOS SDK and the level playing field the App Store offers.
