[prMac.com] Sunnyvale, CA - ZeoBIT LLC announces the release of MacKeeper 1.0.1 - 911 for Mac OS. The development team of ZeoBIT LLC continues to make MacKeeper even better. Version 1.0.1 has brought changes to almost all feature sets of MacKeeper: Security, Data Control, Cleaning, and Optimization. Let's take a look at the main changes according to the release notes.
Novelties and Improvements
Now installation of MacKeeper Antivirus from the application's Status page is also possible for PowerPC Macs. Besides, now MacKeeper can detect third-party antivirus software before being installed.
Now the users will be able to add items using the Add/Remove buttons right on the Shredder's welcome screen.
Backup agent is now a part of MacKeeper bundle.
Now Fast Cleanup works even faster when removing junk.
The Check/Uncheck buttons have been removed to prevent unintentional deletion of important data.
New Blacklist feature has been added. It enables the user to remove the unwanted applications from Update Tracker's list.
The following bugs have been fixed:
Occasional loss of the encrypted items list during the password change.
Accidental crash during XML analysis.
Occasional loss of custom presets created from predefined presets.
Corrupted display of the tooltips in the Column view.
With these fixes and improvements MacKeeper has become even more powerful and easy to use. However, the ZeoBIT team will highly appreciate new bug reports and suggestions.
