[prMac.com] Hong Kong - SolarSpark Productions today is pleased to introduce Snowblaze and Snowblaze HD 1.0 for the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad, their web browser that permits the user to keep an unlimited number of browser windows open simultaneously. Unlike Apple's standard browser, Safari, Snowblaze allows the user to resize, re-arrange, stack, and diagonally cascade browser windows easily. Following news, video, blogs, markets, gaming, or information on six different websites is now possible using a single touch to bring that window forwardmost. Alternatively, users may arrange multiple windows side by side, in layers, or automatically using the Arrange button. Windows may be maximized or restored by double tapping the top or bottom window bar. Dragging the lower right corner gives the user complete flexibility in configuring the size and shape of the window.
* Full-featured web browser for iOS device allows the user to keep an unlimited number of windows open
* Arrange button automatically creates a diagonal cascade, or single layer Mondrian layout
* Includes bookmark library and management, add bookmarks, and complete browsing history
* Efficient application code executes quickly, making browsing effortless
* Hideable menu bar increases screen space
Fully operational in either portrait or landscape configurations, Snowblaze contains a typical web browser menu bar, which can be hidden to provide more screen space. From right to left are two text fields, and six buttons. The rightmost text field allows the user to enter a Google search. The large text field contains the URL, which can be entered manually, pasted, or reached by link. The Arrange button allows open windows to be diagonally cascaded from left to right with a slight offset down and right. The Arrange button can also divide the screen up into the same number of boxes, as there are open windows. In this way no screen is above any other, though screens may be of different sizes. Also on the menu bar are buttons for History (recently visited sites), Bookmarks, Add a Bookmark, Open a Blank Window, and Settings. Settings includes: Custom Background on/off, New Windows Open with Homepage on/off, and Shadows (add depth to windows). Each page also includes buttons for Re-load, Forward, Back, and Close.
Particularly on the iPhone 4 and iPad, with its faster processor and room for expanded memory, Snowblaze works flawlessly, providing a trouble-free browsing experience. It holds many pages in cache memory, so returning to pages is simple and efficient. Working with multiple windows onscreen is just as intuitive as it is on the Mac, except on iPad it requires just a touch - not a click, and windows can be dragged from anyplace in the window, not just the menu bar.
"Now iPad users can keep all their favorite web pages open at once" said CEO Spark So. "Snowblaze brings multi-tasking to the iPad web browser for the first time."
