[prMac.com] Graz, Austria - Gerald Aquila today is pleased to announce that Firetask will be available immediately on the Mac App Store. By bringing our project-oriented GTD task management app to the new Mac App Store, we intend to make it easier for users to discover Firetask, install the app and access updates than ever possible before.
"Bringing the revolutionary App Store experience to the Mac is a great idea," said owner and CEO Gerald Aquila. "We are happy to be on the Mac App Store from day one and I strongly believe that this will change the way we sell desktop software forever."
Firetask lets you focus on what's most important by combining concepts from David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) approach with practical elements of classical task management such as due dates and priorities. Its unique "Waiting For" list makes it easy to keep track of delegated tasks and its highly visual user interface improves the clarity of task lists without overloading them. Unlike other task management apps, Firetask explicitly organizes all tasks into projects and thus, makes it easier to manage great numbers of open tasks. Firetask for Mac syncs wirelessly with its mobile counterparts Firetask for iPhone and iPad.
Pricing and Availability:
The desktop version of Firetask is available on the Mac App Store for $49.99 (US). Firetask for Mac requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later (Snow Leopard). The iPhone and iPad versions of Firetask are available through the iOS App Store for $4.99 and $9.99 respectively.
