RipDeck is a workout generator based on a deck of cards. The app developer, Wiley Wimberly, has been using the RipDeck workout model for several years with his personal trainer and in fitness boot camp. He said, "My weight loss and workout success inspired me to develop the RipDeck app". Mr. Wimberly, himself, has lost over 100 lbs. and even ran a marathon.
The RipDeck app can be used anytime anywhere by anyone at any level of workout experience from beginner to advanced. The exercises are simple to start and can be done at home with no gym equipment necessary. There are Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level workouts. In addition, there is a Custom workout, which can be tailored to the exercises and number of repetitions the user chooses. Once users complete a RipDeck workout, they can email their results or post on Facebook or Twitter to challenge friends to top their workout and time. A Detailed Workout History allows users to track their progress and success.
