Mission Impastable 1.0 Brings A New Twist To The iOS Survival Genre

in Games (F)

[prMac.com] Manhattan, New York - Super Boise has announced the release of their newest game Mission ImPASTAble 1.0. In the game you get to play as Agent Meatball as he tries to escape from Rome. The gameplay is similar to that of other "survival" titles such as NinJump and Ninjatown but a unique take has been added to the genre by adding tons of 'macaronis' that the player has to collect in order to activate power-ups and boost his score. You'll find yourself really going after those macaronis which leads to a much more active game experience that brings a little Sonic the Hedgehog to the survival genre.

Mission imPASTAble 1.0 also mixes it up in other ways by including accelerometer support, the "multiple lives while getting ever-closer to death" health mechanic, different gameplay modes (classic, timed, hardcore, expert), and more.

The game scenario unfolds as Agent Meatball has been betrayed. Someone has told the Italians that you're actually a meatball working to undermine their government. You need to get out of Rome immediately. Here's how you're going to do it...

* Repel down that building wall and avoid food obstacles
* Collect macaronis so you can activate power-ups
* People may start throwing knives. Watch out for that
* An explosion will probably start chasing you. Don't get tripped up

* Retina display graphics
* Universal support
* 4 different modes of gameplay
* Game Center integration with Leaderboards & Achievements
* Twitter, Email, and SMS Integration

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.2 or later
* 13.8 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Mission ImPASTAble 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category.
