[prMac.com] New York City, New York - A new $1.99 music app for iPhone and Android platforms promises to change the way fans interact with music and music industry stars. The revolutionary "Real Rockstar" application does that by making the individual audio experience a more intimate, emotional, and multi-dimensional interactive personal relationship between fans and their favorite musical artists.
A demo version of the radical app is now being offered completely free of charge so anyone who wants to can check it out for themselves. But basically the way it works is that Real Rockstar first matches such things as pitch and intensity with a database of actual voice and music samples. Then it uses that information to identify an artist's emotions and clue fans into how much an artist was really emotionally rocking out in the studio when the music was recorded.
But Real Rockstar further heightens the experience by transmitting emotive words and music video style images through the futuristic app as the song and its lyrics unfold in real time. It's the next best thing to hanging out in the studio as artists lay down their tracks, because all of these added elements are based on the actual emotions the artist was feeling when the recording was made.
"When an artist speaks or sings," explains Real Rockstar developer Ernest Peterson, "the vocal is processed through a unique Real Rockstar algorithm that analyzes each stage and aspect of the artist's feelings throughout the song, using such things as pitch and vocal intensity to map out emotions. Boredom, happiness, anger, and love can all be revealed by Real Rockstar." This gives the user a more complete interaction and insight into what the artist actually felt when he or she was in the process of translating personal feelings into music and conveying them to the world.
Real Rockstar also generates E-videos, or emotionally charged videos that are produced in a way that accentuates and uncovers feelings behind music. That way the fan who has always wanted to see a music video of their favorite song can now do so.
"We spent lots of time in music studios monitoring artist vocal intensity levels as well as interviewing artist about their feelings in the recording booth," Peterson says. A 15-year veteran of the music industry, he has worked with record labels including Sony, Jive, Arista, and Blunt. "Then we created emotion words that track his or her emotions and a video sequence to match it."
Now the user can capture this whole experience anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day; because it has been creatively adapted as one of the year's most intriguing and potentially groundbreaking smart phone apps. Real Rockstar transforms passive or one-way listening into a personal glimpse into the life and soul of each artist. Best of all, these phenomenal Real Rockstar app features are available for less than two bucks.
