[prMac.com] Sungai Buloh, Malaysia - Independent iPhone app developer, emirBytes today is pleased to announce that Arkaneum 2.0 is available to download in the Apple's App Store. Arkaneum is a simple game based on the Mancala variant, with a slight twist. In Arkaneum, you play as a space traveler, competing for Arkaneum ores (instead of marbles) by way of Mancala.
Version 2.0 is a total remake of the game with added replay value such as 6 different worlds, 13 challenging levels and a secret level to be unlocked. The gameplay is a little different from the traditional mancala, where a single ore has a tendency to mutate into the very valuable Arkanites. Even when you are far behind in ore points, you still have chance to win by capturing the Arkanites.
There are many types of challenges built into the worlds - such as avoiding the opponent from capturing your ores, emptying your ore carriers before your opponent does, and gathering the most ore points. The secret level dubbed as the "WormHole", will ensure you wanting to play more. Head over to the developer's youtube channel to see the game demo.
