[prMac.com] Breda, The Netherlands - Dutch indie developer Matthijs Hollemans is pleased to announce that his musician's utility, Reverse Chord Finder Pro, is now available from the iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod touch. Reverse Chord Finder Pro is an inverse chord dictionary that lets songwriters, composers, musicians and music students quickly match chord names to the notes they are playing.
Reverse Chord Finder Pro lets the user select notes on piano, guitar or musical staff notation and then displays the names of the chords that correspond to those notes. Unlike traditional chord dictionaries, which just explain how to play chords, Reverse Chord Finder Pro will help the user understand the music they are playing. It's also a great way to discover cool new chords!
Any musician who needs to name chords or wishes to learn more about their construction can benefit from this tool. A songwriter or composer may need to write down how a composition should be harmonized. A music student may have to analyze the harmony of a piece. Play-by-ear performers need to be able to communicate with fellow musicians. Reverse Chord Finder Pro is designed to help with all of these tasks, making it easy to find the names of chords and to understand their place in the language of music.
