[prMac.com] Jhangle, Pingtung, Taiwan - The Ohanaware a development team, specializing in intuitive photo editing software, announce their plan to help the people of Japan. From today (Mar 18th, 2011) until Mar 25th, 2011, Ohanaware will be selling all their software (which includes their new HDRtist Pro and award winning Funtastic Photos) at half price. All the profit that Ohanaware generate in this period will then be donated to the Red Cross, to be used to provide medical care, shelter, food and water for those that need it after last weeks earth quake and tsunami.
On March the 11th a massive costal earthquake, measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale triggered a tsunami which hit the eastern side of Japan with 22 foot waves. The death toll is expected to exceed 15,000, and over half a million people are without homes, heat, food and water. "Donations to the Red Cross will be used towards helping the Japanese people recover from this devastating natural disaster over the coming months and years." Quote from the Red Cross website.
