[prMac.com] Purvis, Mississippi - Icy Plaines Studios announced the release of MyBraces 1.0 for iOS. The main focus of the app is to give users the ability to create and share their own unique thoughts and stories about the experiences they have encountered with braces. Other users can then read and comment on those stories.
* My Progress, users upload photos of themselves and can compare past photos to see how much their teeth have changed
* My Colors, users are presented with an illustration of teeth and can personalize the colors of the brace ligatures
* Twitter Feed, here you can follow tweets from the MyBraces Team
MyBraces also supports publishing to Facebook. Users can upload their stories and ligature colors directly to their wall and share with their friends. Someone is harassing you? In such a case the developer has implemented a Blacklist feature to hide all comments and blogs written by that user. Or, if you would like to leave a private message to a users blog, the option is easily accessible by way of a checkbox as well.
Icy Plains Studios, LLC has stated they plan to refine and incorporate more features as the app gains more momentum and a larger user base. One suspected enhancement is to add more tickers which users can customize on their profiles. The tickers show a relative time line from beginning to end of a users braced and debraced dates.
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 4.0 or later
* 5.8 MB
