[prMac.com] Denham Springs, Louisiana - SKH Apps today is pleased to announce a free version of the family inspired app, Mad Monkey, became available this week on iTunes. This Universal app available for free on the iPhone and iPad quickly rose to the top 50 in the Action and Kid Games categories of the iPad app store. The simple play mechanics, a smiling cartoon monkey that drops items at high speeds, and gameplay similar to the classic Atari game called "Kaboom!" seem to be a winning combination with users.
Mad Monkey includes a fun cartoon monkey that always keeps a smile on his face while sliding back and forth throwing down various objects at increasing speeds. The user tries to catch the fast fruit using only a finger. Catching too many items causes the monkey to get frustrated spouting funny little sayings and increasing his speed faster and faster until the user misses and objects splat on the screen making the monkey happy. Each level of the paid version has a different theme including a picnic crashing monkey throwing fruit, circus scene with a clown monkey, a science lab with two cloned monkeys, and an oriental theme with sneaky ninja monkeys dropping sushi.
