Remote Conductor Now Available for the iPhone

in Utilities (E)

[] Seattle, Washington - m3me, Inc. has announced Remote Conductor 1.0 for iPhone, bringing their popular iPad app to iPhone / iPod touch devices. Remote Conductor turns the iPhone into a productive, wireless, control center for a Mac or PC with features such as: Application / Window Switcher, Remote Program Launcher, Wireless Trackpad and Secure Keyboard. The iPhone version offers the same unique UI, feature set and strong security as its iPad counterpart.

"We are pleased to be bringing the Remote Conductor experience to the iPhone and iPod touch. We were able to translate our innovative window switcher and app launcher to the small screen without giving up functionality," commented m3me CEO, John Marshall. "While the iPad version has become a popular companion to a keyboard on the desktop, users have been asking us for a more portable solution. We feel the iPhone version is ideal for presentations, classrooms, media PCs and more occasional use."

Remote Conductor communicates securely over Wi-Fi with a free server program that runs on a Mac or PC. The trackpad supports most modern multi-touch gestures for clicking, scrolling and dragging as well as for showing the desktop, bringing up Expose / Flip 3d or the Dashboard / Gadgets. The Launcher finds all the installed programs on a computer and allows them to be started just like apps on the iPhone. It also displays icons pinned to the Dock or Taskbar as a scrollable row at the bottom of the screen. The Application / Window Switcher displays all the computer's open windows as thumbnails in a unique, scrollable grid. Any window can be focused by tapping on a thumbnail. You can also close, minimize or maximize windows with a tap and hold control menu.

Remote Conductor is the most secure app of its kind, and is the only iPhone trackpad app to provide an encrypted keyboard.
