[prMac.com] Providence, Rhode Island - 3 AM Coffee Studios, an imaginative new mobile application developer focused on recreational apps, has toady announced the release of Hairpaint for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Made to be used just for kicks and entertainment, this whimsical app gives users the power to play around with the hair types and hair colors of their friends and family in photos. Build with ease of use in mind, gleeful users can pick and choose either down-to-earth and out-of-this-world colors with the click of a button, and paint them onto their subjects as different hair types with a few finger swipes. The perfect way to fill a few minutes or surprise those you love, Hairpaint is currently available for download on the Apple App Store for $0.99.
This tongue in cheek photo-editing application allows even the least artistically gifted users to digitally paint realistic hair onto their photos in seconds. Users simply choose the style of hair they'd like to paint onto their photo from the app's hair type catalog, which includes curly hair, straight hair, beard stubble and even body hair. There's six hair styles to choose from overall. Afterwards users simply need to pick the hair color of their choice and begin to work their magic on their selected photo. Recognizing the importance of offering diversity, the app provides users with the freedom from a realistic hair colors to colors that look as alien on a head as pink or blue.
When its time to draw up their magic, Users will find that Hairpaint's actual painting process is so simple an easy even a toddler could master it. Once their hairstyle and hair color is chosen, users simply drag their finger across the areas they'd like to see overlapped with the apps digital hair. It's that simple. If users aren't happy with their work, they're free to erase parts of it - or all of it - and rework their new digital hairstyles until they reach perfection. Of course, no altered photo would be much fun if it couldn't be shared with friends and family for laughs and entertainment. Anticipating this, Hairpaint's developer has taken care to provide users with the ability to share completed pieces with anyone via email or Facebook. Photos can be stored directly onto the users' mobile device from within the app as well. Whether you want to play a joke on your friends, or simply see what people would look like with different hair, Hairpaint is just the ticket.
