[prMac.com] Las Vegas, Nevada - OstinGames has finished Zepi Music Crash Contest held at TouchArcade forum recently. Zepi Music 1.0 featured a bug that caused crashing of the app when pressing a specific combo of 4 buttons one by one. There appeared to be pretty many variants of those combinations. Notably, the developer noticed the problem only after the game had been released. The bug made one of the quick-witted participants (TA nick m13) richer by $200!
With the release of Zepi Music 1.1 and Zepi HD 1.2 (with the fixed bug now), OstinGames launches two more contests. Crash Contest #2 is about finding a bug(s) of the same nature in the updated versions of Zepi Musi for iPhone/iPod touch. Once some user reveals a combination of 4 buttons in the game menu that will lead to crashing of the app, the prize of $100 will be deducted from the OstinGames super programmers' salary for each bug!
Crash Contest #3 (The Da Zepi Code) applies both to the iPhone and iPad version of the musical puzzle. To please all Zepi Music fans, OstinGames team have deliberately created a winning combo of 5 buttons in the menu (The Da Zepi Code). He who figures out that combo and places a video in the relevant post at TouchArcade forum will be awarded $100 (the money will be deducted from the CEO's salary)! The buttons of the combo for the iPhone and iPad are different yet the prize will be the same - $100 for each version!
To discover the five happy buttons in Zepi HD 1.2, the player should press the Sound Settings button (in Zepi Music 1.1 it is the Settings button). Upon tapping the 5 lucky buttons, the New Game button should be pressed. If the winning combo is correct, the game will not start out. Instead, a banner with congratulations and a secret code generated by the program will pop up. If the winning combo is wrong, the game will just go on.
