[prMac.com] Mossingen, Germany - Independent developer Diethard Seiferth today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of TagYourTime! 1.0. his new Tag Based Calendar App which is now available exclusively for the iPhone and iPod touch. The focus of TagYourTime! is not in the planning of appointments, but in the display "what's next".
TagYourTime! shows you in how many days, hours and minutes next events take place. TagYourTime! bypasses barriers of 24 hour days and gives you a whole new sense of time. When I worked with one of the first prototypes I got to wonder: "What, this birthday is already in five days!"
TagYourTime! is based on a graphical tag system: Tap on a tag, e.g. the Phone Tag, and the TagEvent editor opens (in TagYourTime! an event is called "TagEvent"). Edit title, date, recurrence, alarms, priority, address or others and the created TagEvent occurs in the events running line. Or, tap on the title bar and speak the title of a tag. TagYourTime! has an integrated speech recognition system.
To mark a TagEvent as "Done", double tap on it. To delete a TagEvent, move it over the trash icon.
You can save the event part of an TagEvent in the iPhone calendar or send it as EMail or SMS attachment.
Draw your own tag icons and import them via iTunes. Special tags like a Photo Tag or a Shopping Tag are available as In-App purchases.
Birthday TagEvents are automatically created from the iPhones event database (addressbook entries). Also, you can create birthday TagEvents manually with the Birthday Tag.
