Fireworks Banned? Enjoy July 4th with the iPhone App: Dollar Origami 3D

in Entertainment (E)

[] Mesa, Arizona - LEARN2MAKE LLC, today is pleased to announce its latest iPhone App, "Dollar Origami 3D" just in time for what could be a 4th of July without fireworks in much of the country.

"Though it is not explosions in the sky, folding dollar bills into various shapes gives you a different kind of patriotic thrill!" states the president of LEARN2MAKE, Emilia Queiroz. The App shows you how to take the American Dollar Bills that you had intended to spend on fireworks, and instead, fold them into shapes like a Duck, a Heart, a Shirt & Pants and a Ring.

The app uses state of the art, realtime 3D technology. The animated Dollar Bills in the app look very realistic because, although they are computer generated, they use photorealistic images from real Dollar Bills. The app allows the user to use finger gestures on the device's touch screen to rotate and zoom the animated Dollar Bill models while learning to fold the shapes. In order to make things easier, the animations are broken up into small animated steps showing one fold at a time. The small steps automatically repeat until the user taps a button to go to the next step. The user also has the ability to slow down, speed up or pause the animation at any time.

During the app's first 2 days of release on the App Store, users of the app have left reviews declaring, "I don't think it gets much easier to learn Origami ... Literally anyone could do this." and "I like it. It's way easy."

LEARN2MAKE president Emilia Queiroz explains the app this way, "If you haven't been able to make Origami before, this is your chance. And since most everyone has a Dollar Bill laying around somewhere, you don't even have to worry about finding the right paper for the Origami!"

Making Dollar Origami on the 4th of July can be a fun family activity that also can tie in to the history of America. The finished Origami models make patriotic use of the many American icons printed on US banknotes. Displayed on finished $1 Bill Origami models are the face of George Washington, and the Bald Eagle. When using other bills, the finished models display Abraham Lincoln and the Lincoln Memorial ($5 Bill), the White House ($20 Bill), and the US Capital ($50 Bill). It is even possible to make a figure with Benjamin Franklin on it if you have a spare $100 Bill.

LEARN2MAKE will provide additional Dollar Origami shape instructions in future app updates, so if you enjoy the app make sure you keep it on your iPhone. Open it often to check for new shapes.
