At launch, Flip Ant welcomes you and helps you choose from three game modes, 5 game length settings, and whether questions come from the Old Testament, New Testament, or the entire Bible. You must hear him to believe him! Flip will make you laugh while you are learning, whether by yourself, or in a group.
"This app is challenging, fun, a quick and easy way to learn Bible facts, stories...it encourages me to know more!! Great when you have a few minutes of down-time!!" - iTunes review
"Wonderful game! I used it today in my second grade Sunday School class & the kids LOVED it! Even the harder questions had a Bible reference, so they raced to see who could find the answer first. We played in the mode without the timer so they had plenty of time to look up answer. Good for teaching them to use their Bibles. Loved that it was like a game show and the quirky sounding announcer got some laughs. I have several iPad Bible games & so far, this is the best one." - iTunes review
"I absolutely love this app. I have been a diligent reader of the Bible my whole life and have taught the Word for many years ... this game is a ton of fun as it reveals what I remember and what I've forgotten. Whether you're a kid or an adult, I think you're gonna love this one. It's not only a blast, but it's always productive, good for the brain and never a waste of time." - iTunes review
Once you have chosen the game to play, Flip explains the rules of the selected game type. There are three game modes:
Single Player mode presents the question, the multiple choice answers, and manna reward. When Flip finishes reading, the manna begins to decrease. After some time, the wrong answers will begin to disappear to help the player choose the correct one. If answered correctly, the remaining manna is added to the score. Answered incorrectly, and that amount of manna is deducted. The object of the game is to collect Manna by answering the presented questions correctly so you can enter your name in the Manna Leaderboard.
Practice mode is similar to Single Player mode except that there is no time limit, and is not ranked on the Manna Leaderboard. This mode allows for discussion in a group setting, or the ability to research and look up the correct answer.
The Mix and Match game displays a Bible passage on the screen with a missing word a possible answers float by. Choose the correct answer to gain manna. It is a quick 10 question game when there isn't much time to play.
In addition to the three game modes available, Biblicious gives fans the ability to visit the Pariahware Schwag Store where items with the Biblicious or Pariahware logo on them can be purchased. Bible scholars can submit their own questions to be included in a future version. To not miss a moment of Biblicious or Pariahware news, users can sign up for the newsletter, follow Pariahware on Twitter, or become a Pariahware Fan on Facebook.
"After much work I am happy to announce that Biblicious is now Game Center ready.", stated Christian Miller, President of Pariahware, Inc. "Instead of everybody crowding around a single device, people can play live against each other online!"
