The Escapers launch Stuf 2

[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - The Escapers today is pleased to announce the release of Stuf 2, not only for the Mac, but for Windows 7 too. In keeping with the ethos of each platform, Stuf 2 is a native application on both Lion and Windows 7. Developed separately, but in close collaboration, both versions fit in perfectly on their respective platforms.

Stuf 2 allows users to copy data such as text or an image on a Mac, and paste it on a PC. Stuf 2 frees the clippings from the local network, and now users need only have access to Dropbox to share clippings. Workgroups can also host their clippings on existing network drives for more performance.

Stuf 2 builds a foundation for many future updates, and bridges the gap between PC and Mac users working on the same projects. Stuf 2 keeps the easy categorization of clippings so beloved by Stuf 1 users, along with the "Quick Paste" menu which power users quickly became addicted to. Stuf 2 for Windows is a pure Windows 7 application, no COM cruft, and will satisfy the many multi-platform users who requested to use Stuf on their PCs.

Pricing and Availability:
Stuf 2 is available for 16.99 (USD) on each platform. Stuf 2 is currently being reviewed by Apple for inclusion on the App Store. Stuf 1 users can upgrade for free to Stuf 2 for Mac.
