[prMac.com] Wellington, New Zealand - Mudpie Studios has announced Beat Monster 1.0, a new game for iPhone, iTouch and iPad, which offers users a unique way to interface with their iDevice. You place your iDevice on a table, desk or other flat surface and tap on the table to match the musical patterns that are played from the device. With online multi player people from around the world can have one on one battle in which players take turns making up beats and waiting for their opponent to try and play back the beat accurately. With 30 Levels of ascending difficulty, game play is designed to be easy to grasp but hard to master with unlock-able achievements that encourage people to hit every note perfectly, which is no easy task.
Developer Rory O'Logan from Wellington New Zealand states, " this game brings a new way to interact with mobile devices and I hope that this game will encourage other developers to think about new and different ways to use the technology we already have available to us." With plans for an android version in the future and more apps in the pipe line that promise to surprise, Rory O'Logan from New Zealand is an up and coming developer to keep an eye on.
