Dare to be Creative releases iArchiver with German localization

[prMac.com] Vienna, Austria - Dare to be Creative today announced the release of iArchiver 1.4, an archiving and file compression utility for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard. iArchiver is a utility application that creates, opens and converts archives using drag and drop.

With iArchiver, users can archive and backup their files in popular formats such as 7zip, Zip and DMG. In addition, iArchiver opens and converts a broad spectrum of file formats including Rar, StuffIt, DMG, Zip and 7zip. Based on popular demand from users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. the new version ships with a German localization.

"We received a lot of emails from users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland asking for a German version," says Philipp Mayerhofer, Chief Operational Officer of Dare to be Creative, "so in many ways this is a thank you to our user base in the German-speaking regions". Localizations for French, Spanish, Italian and Russian are planned for October 2008.
