[prMac.com] Taos, New Mexico - According to Apple's iTunes, "Arrhythmias" by Abe Balsamo & Co., has broken into the Top 25 once again. This medical application (app) is also a featured app on iTunes and can be found in "What's Hot". It was recently also highlighted in Apple's "New and Noteworthy" section of iTunes.
With all of it's success, the maker of the successful "Arrhythmias" app, Abe Balsamo, a Physician Assistant still in full-time practice, has decided to give back to his community. This August's sales (every penny that is made) will go into a fund to help a young motor vehicle accident victim who had a devastating accident in mid-July, 2011. The profits will be used to help her pay her continuing medical expenses.
President of Abe Balsamo & Co., Abe Balsamo, states that it is his duty, not only as a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and local medical community, but also as a neighbor and friend, to give back to the community that has given him so much.
"I grew up in Taos, New Mexico and it is without a doubt that I've made it where I've made it because of the great people of this community. Taos was and continues to be a special place to grow up and live. The people here are always willing to help each other and it is with this in mind that I will continue to give back to my community."
Released on May 12th, 2011, Arrhythmias 1.6 is the first app of the medical suite that has been released by Abe Balsamo & Co. If the first three months of sales are any indication, the company is on to something. Sales have exploded and "Arrhythmias" climbed onto the Apple Top 100 Medical Apps within one day and by the end of the first week, was a Top Ten Paid Medical App in the USA.
"We are eager to help medical practitioners make quick, informed, peer-reviewed decisions that are in line with the standards of care. We hope to provide affordable ($0.99) peace-of-mind to doctors, PAs, and NPs, as well as EMS professionals, when making decisions at the bedside or even in an ambulance.
Our application helps to diagnose and treat very complicated medical problems, such as heart problems, in the case of 'Arrhythmias'," states Abe Balsamo, president of Abe Balsamo & Co.
The first application of it's kind, "Arrhythmias", has already been downloaded more than most other medical applications in the Apple Store. It is inexpensive and high quality, with an intuitive display and easy to use format. There are no "extra clicks", which allows for fast access, needed at the bedside during medical "codes" and life-threatening events. The application is updated regularly and strives to only provide relevant, informative, and even, life-saving medical information.
Abe Balsamo & Co. provides easy-to-use products that help to prevent medical errors; errors that could potentially hurt or even kill a patient. All information within our Apple-based iPhone app is cited with links to original and compiled research.
"Clear, concise explanations of the essentials of Arrhythmias and findings on electrocardiograms. A great app for those working in all areas of medicine, especially those taking care of patients with heart problems," says Armando Sanchez of the University of New Mexico, Department of Electrophysiology Cardiology.
