minmo case for iPhone extends functionality with clip-on accessories
September 8, 2011 in Bags and Cases
[prMac.com] Bellevue, Washington - The minmo case is an ultra-minimal aluminum iPhone 4 case that is designed so that accessories can clip onto the case to extend its functionality without needing to remove the case. Minmo is launching their first product, the iPhone 4 case with two accessories, on their Kickstarter project site. In addition, the upcoming iPhone 5 case is planned to be cross-compatible with iPhone 4 accessories.
Design:
In order to create an ultra-minimal case, solid-aluminum construction is used to ensure that the back of the iPhone is completely unobstructed so that both the visual appearance of the case is reduced and that the tactile sensation of the glass back is present to make the iPhone feel "case-less." There is no hardware such as screws used in its design.
Accessories:
A multitude of accessories will be developed to take advantage of the unique design of the case. The possibilities are endless, but on the drawing board are a money/wallet clip, belt clip, arm band, tripod and multiple lenses for the growing mobile photo sharing market. The minmo line of accessories is planned to be cross-compatible with either the iPhone 4 or coming iPhone 5.
Located in Bellevue, Washington, minmo was founded in 2011 to create minimal cases with more functionality specifically designed for the iPhone platform. High-quality, solid-aluminum cases are coupled with plastic accessories to extend the functionality of the phone without the need to remove the case. Copyright (C) 2011 minmo.
