It fully integrates with the OS X security system and needs no additional password or shortcut to remember. Plug Spy auto activates when the screen is locked and start an annoying high volume alert sound and send a Growl notification when the MacBook gets stolen.
Plug Spy is running inconspicuous in the system menu to give a quick and easy access.
To setup Plug Spy is easy and require only 4 simple steps. When activated, Plug Spy observe if the MacBook gets unplugged from the MagSafe power adapter and if someone tries to close the lit.
Plug-Spy can also capture a snapshot from the person in front of the MacBook. With Prowl on the iPhone, the Growl notification is received right in the phone and allows to initiate further steps.
Plug Spy is full functional with the newest generation of MacBook Air without Kensington Security Slot and Sudden Motion Sensor.
