IGG Software Unveils All-New Website

in Announcements (E)

[prMac.com] Putney, Vermont - IGG Software, Inc., has taken the wraps off its new, improved and fully redesigned website. The fresh look for iggsoftware.com is the culmination of a series of changes at IGG that began with the company's incorporation at the start of the year, along with a new IGG Software logo, also introduced in early 2011. The new site was developed in-house by IGG's webmaster, Jon Williams.

"The IGG website has evolved regularly over the years," says Williams. "But this was the first time I had a chance to re-imagine, redesign, and rebuild the entire site from the ground up. Now it's cleaner, clearer and more consistent, designed to create a better visitor experience overall."

Among the most important changes to the site - besides its more contemporary design - are greater homepage emphasis on news and information from IGG; more detail about IGG's staff; shopping cart improvements that prevent users from inadvertently purchasing multiple licenses; a more efficient back-end database for the store; an easier, more robust mechanism for IGG to issue customer refunds; and various internal enhancements to ensure stability and scalability for future changes.

iBank 4, IGG's best-selling product, has become the leading full-featured application for personal finance on the Mac. Released in September 2010 to widespread acclaim, iBank is also available from the Mac App Store, where it has been a number-one selling finance app, as well as the top-grossing finance app, since Apple's launch of the store in January.

Also available from IGG is iBiz 4, for freelancers, small businesses or contract workers to keep track of billable time while managing rates, expenses, clients, projects and invoices. An affordable, networkable version, iBiz Professional, is also available for teams in which multiple users are generating billable hours.

IGG offers free trial downloads of all software, as well as free support and IGG's industry-leading refund policy, extended this summer to allow an unconditional, money-back guarantee for a full 90 days on purchases made directly from the IGG online store.

IGG Software, Inc., was founded in 2003 by developer Ian Gillespie to offer intuitive, elegant and powerful applications for individuals and small business. Based in Putney, Vermont, its flagship products are iBank, for personal finance management, and iBiz, for time-tracking and billing. Copyright (C) 2011 IGG Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
