Magnetic Billiards goes free for fair play

[] Manchester, United Kingdom - Zee 3 Limited has introduced Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint, the critically acclaimed first iOS game by veteran game designers The Pickford Bros, today entered the AppMadness Tournament for September, where 32 iOS apps compete over five rounds, voted for by the general public, to be crowned app of the month.

To mark this occasion, and in a spirit fair play, The Pickford Bros have decided to switch Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint to free for as long as the game remains a competitor in the Tournament.

"We think it's only fair that if people are being asked to vote on which app they prefer then they can try our game for free to see if they like it," said co-designer John Pickford, "and we're confident enough in the quality of our game that we believe people who try Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint will keep on playing it. We see this promotion as a way of gaining fans rather than losing sales," he continued.

The Tournament matches up iOS apps in pairs, with the public free to vote for whichever app they prefer from each pair and the winner progressing to the next round, with the final tournament winner announced in mid October.

"This is like The Champions League of iOS games," offered co-designer Ste Pickford, rather optimistically, "and we've been drawn in a tough group. We're up against dark horse Egyptian outsiders Space Egg in the first round. Every match is hard at this level but - no disrespect to our current opponents - it's Reckless Getaway who we've got our eye on in this group. They're the ones to watch, and our scouting reports suggest they're going to be tricky opponents, strong all over the park, pacy, with good width and an impressive target man," he babbled deliriously.

Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint is published by Zee-3 and is available as a universal app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices via a single download, and supports full HD graphics on retina displays and iPads.

The game has received over 100 glowing reviews and over 200 5-star ratings on the App Store worldwide, and has secured a Metacritic rating of 83.

Additional content and game modes are available for purchase within the app, and The Pickford Bros are working on further content expansions to be released in the coming months.
