iSync plugins 7.1 supports new plugin management, 200 cell phones

[prMac.com] Berlin, Germany - Cell phone owners can use the iSync plugins from nova media to synchronize contacts and calendars with a Mac and more than 200 cell phone models. The all new version 7.1 of the iSync plugins includes a new management tool to install and update cell phone plugins within Mac OS X.

Many cell phone manufacturers do not offer a Macintosh solution to synchronize contacts and calendars with their phones. The owners of these cell phons can now use the iSync plugins from nova media to synchronize contacts and calendars with a Mac and more than 200 different phone models.

Version 7.1 of the iSync plugins adds a new preference pane which makes it easy to add cell phone plugins to iSync and keep them up to date.

"The list of all available plugins and updates is now visible right from the preference pane and updated everytime iSync plugins is launched. There is no need to search the internet to see if a new plugin is available." states jan Fuellemann, PR spokesperson at nova media. "The installed Plugins can be updated right from the preference pane. And iSync should launch faster, as we do not install all 200 plugins, but only the selected ones."

iSync plugins now supports English, French and German langauge within the program and manual.

iSync phone plugins are available online for Euro 9,95 plus VAT (US-$ 9.95 plus VAT for residents in the US and Canada). System requirements are Mac OS X 10.4.9 or higher and a supported blueooth-enabled cell phone. Updates are free for users who purchased the iSync plugins within the last 12 months from nova media.
