Zerion Consulting donates iPhone data collection technology for Election

[prMac.com] Herndon, Virginia - Zerion Consulting, an information technology firm that specializes in mobile, enterprise business solutions and application development, donated their iPhone data collection technology to the volunteer based Twitter-Vote-Report project for use on election day 2008.
Twitter Vote Report is an all-volunteer network of software developers, designers, and other collaborators that have teamed up with the award-winning blog 'techPresident' to launch this effort.
Using Twitter Vote Report, voters will be able to share their experiences and resources with one another, to solve problems quickly (e.g. "don't come now, the line is too long"). Voters can report their experience and problems via one of four channels: Twitter, Phone via SMS, iPhone and Android apps. These messages will then be aggregated and mapped so that we can "see" real-time voting problems around the country.
