[prMac.com] Markham, Canada - Leisurerules Inc., an indie iOS developer, announced that their first title, "Aliens versus Humans" is available in the Apple AppStore. Aliens versus Humans 1.0, a turn based strategy game, focuses on commanding a squad of soldiers to battle aliens.
"My favorite turn based strategy game of all time was created back in 1994. Although now considered retro, the game play was awesome. When I got my first iPhone, I looked for games similar and didn't find anything. So we developed our own." says Jim Cloughley, Founder of Leisurerules Inc.
Aliens versus Humans maintains a retro feel with exceptional game play. With a new story line, players will jump right into missions that will have them doing reconnaissance, removing the alien threat, recovering alien technology and defending against alien retaliation. Something new in Aliens versus Humans are the integrated achievements giving a whole new twist on a classic.
This game should not only appeal to those who were gamers in the '90s but to anyone looking for solid game play with lots of variety in the missions.
According to Vanessa Cloughley, Lead Developer at Leisurerules, "AvH ended up being a family endeavor. Everyone was involved from providing great 'out of the box' ideas to supplying screams and awesome effects. AvH is a product that we're proud to release to the AppStore".
