[prMac.com] Solingen, Germany -UNIVERSE Software announces the updated fdf-Converter 6.0, for Mac. When PDF forms are completed, the entries are handled separately from the actual PDF forms as form data. Up until now, this form data had to be exported as an FDF file if it was to be processed further in other applications. This step can now be omitted. The fdf-Converter can import both PDF forms and FDF files, and saves the values in a CSV file. These can then be processed further in Excel or in databases, for example.
When exporting FDF data, the structure in the FDF file can vary. A simultaneous multiple import FDF files was not always possible. By using PDF forms as templates now have the correct assignment of the data is guaranteed.
The fdf-Converter is an especially easy-to-use and inexpensive tool which is available for the most diverse operating systems. With a click of the mouse, individual files or complete directories with an unlimited number of files can be converted within seconds and summarized in a single new table. In the process, FDF and PDF files - even with different form construction - can be mixed.
The preview function instantly shows the structure of the subsequent tables, including data. Individual settings options for the creation of the CSV file enable adjustment to country-specific values.
The fdf-Converter product, developed in JAVA, is available on our website as a test version for MAC, Windows and Linux, and the full version costs 79 euros plus mandatory value-added tax.
