Logical Thought releases Routinely, a visual schedule app for iOS

April 17, 2012 in Education

[prMac.com] Richmond, Virginia - Logical Thought today is excited to announce Routinely, a new visual schedule app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Many children, especially those with developmental delays and other special needs, feel comforted by knowing what is coming next. Routinely allows caregivers to create schedules with pictures to aid in transitions and set expectations that children can easily grasp. Routinely can also give children a sense of independence by allowing them to pick an activity from a set of choices. Any activity can also include a timer that can help further reinforce transitions and expectations.

"As a parent of special needs children, I know the frustration of trying to find good tools that can help with my children's unique difficulties", says Adam Schlag, founder of Logical Thought. "We designed Routinely to help add predicability to my kids' daily routines. We also want it to be bright and attractive, so we included some great illustrations to help build routines quickly. You can even use your own photos and make your routines unique to your own needs."

With Routinely you can:
* Build routines with the included set of fun, colorful illustrations
* Create activities by taking photos or use pictures from your photo library
* Let your child pick between up to four activity choices
* Add visual countdown timers on any task or choice
* Lock routines to avoid accidental changes
* Export your routines and photos to share with other caretakers

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (through iPhone app compatibility)
* iOS 5.0 or later
* Camera required for taking photos
* 6.6 MB Download

Pricing and Availability:
Besides being useful we want Routinely to be affordable for everyone. Routinely 1.0 is $4.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Education category. Please visit them online for more information, including screenshots, video, tutorials, and support.
