Vitamin-R 1.82 adds full Retina display support

[prMac.com] Luxembourg City, Luxembourg - publicspace has announced version 1.82 of Vitamin-R, its productivity tool designed for doers not planners. Vitamin-R uses the latest insights from neuroscience to overcome procrastination, retain focus and maintain motivation.

Vitamin-R creates a brain-friendly environment with short bursts of distraction-free, highly focused activity alternating with opportunities for renewal, reflection and intuition. The built-in task logging and statistics features create a positive momentum towards productivity by providing visible feedback on your progress and achievements.

Version 1.82 provides fully optimized graphics for the new Retina Display-equipped MacBook Pro models. It also features a number of minor updates, including data smoothing for attention input from NeuroSky's MindWave brain wave sensor and improved in-product graphics.

Vitamin-R breaks down large, vaguely defined tasks into a series of short "time slices" of between 10 and 30 minutes, each with specific, easily reachable and actionable objectives. The objective, time frame, concentration level and completion status of each time slice is logged automatically to the user log. Furthermore, the Vitamin-R Log Book also maintain hyperlinks to tasks in Cultured Code's Things and OmniGroup's OmniFocus to do list managers.

During a time slice Vitamin-R keeps you focused on accomplishing only this one objective and provides you with mechanisms for dealing with interruptions, poor concentration, etc.

Vitamin-R concentrates on getting started which allows you to break through the resistance of procrastination and creates a positive feedback loop of small achievements that get you closer to your ultimate aims.
