[prMac.com] Schenectady, New York - Glassdice Entertainment is pleased to announce their second fishing game "Summer Fishing" is now available on the App Store. Summer Fishing is a sequel to their first app "Winter Fishing" that was downloaded in more than 50 countries worldwide and garnered a strong following of fans.
Summer Fishing focuses on a story of a missing scientist seeking out clues in order to locate a lost relic fish species in the Pacific Ocean. "We had a decent amount of success with Winter Fishing, but it didn't have anything novel to it as a fishing game. So we ended up creating a story behind Summer Fishing that was based off true events and inter weaved it into the game-play. The end result was a quality fishing game that had a bit of substance and nostalgia to it, something all of the other fishing games like Flick Fishing and iFishing lacked." said Jeff Merten, the founder and lead developer of Glassdice Entertainment.
Summer Fishing features:
* 88 different species of retina fish, including 68 new fish.
* Ability to collect bait using traps
* Ability to cast using dozens of new baits and lures
* 10 new fishing areas, including 3 that are saltwater.
* 40 new quests
* Integrated storyline
* Major graphical improvements
* Requires iOS 5.0 or higher and approximately 135 MB of memory.
* Compatible with iPhone 4, 4S, iPad(2nd and 3rd Gen), iPod touch (4th Gen)
