[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - Boothsy, the latest app from mobile lab Appvetica has just arrived in the App Store. Boothsy is the first iPad photo booth that utilizes facial recognition. It means that you don't have to press any buttons, just smile at your iPad and it will start taking pictures automatically! The photo strip is then saved in the gallery. You can also share it on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr or send it via e-mail. Of course, before taking picture you can select the number of photos the strip will consist of, as well as the frame color.
"Boothsy is an app ideal for all kind of events. Actually, the idea crossed our minds during a party - when we tried to take a picture with some other photo booth app which required interaction with iPad's screen, the iPad got knocked over and fell off a table. So we started thinking about using facial recognition instead of buttons - that how Boothsy was created" - says Peter Tuszynski, Appvetica's CEO.
* Requires iOS 5.0 or later
