[prMac.com] Paris, France - The Grizzly Labs, the company behind Genius Scan, announced the release of Genius Scan 3.1 for iPhone. With this update, Genius Scan supports exporting documents to Microsoft SkyDrive.
Genius Scan is a pocket scanner for mobile devices. It allows users to scan, correct the perspective and enhance the readability of their scans. Genius Scan then lets users export their documents as a JPEG or PDF file to various services, from email to the best cloud services available on the market.
Genius Scan already supported a wide range of cloud services such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, and Expensify. This new update adds support for Microsoft SkyDrive. Users of this online storage service can now scan documents and directly send them to SkyDrive.
"Genius Scan would not be as successful without its excellent support for cloud storage.", says Guillaume Gigaud, co-founder of The Grizzly Labs, "Our goal is to let users choose their favorite storage solution and the SkyDrive integration is a great step towards that."
Users who use Genius Scan for expense reporting will also be greated with new features: when using Expensify, they can now attach more details to the receipt: comment, amount, merchant, transaction date, currency.
Last but not least, this update introduces better support for folders in all the export services: Google Drive now supports folders and all plugins remember the previously selected folder speeding up the user's workflow.
